W.o.m.e.n. in America

I am continually surprised in the ways in which WIA has not only progressed my career, but truly enriched my life. I joined the class of 2012, but it honestly feels like I have been a member for life.

I joined WIA at a crucial point in my career where I had just left a job without another job lined up.

So, the question is often asked, "Who was your mentor?" The truth is, I have to confess, that coming up in the rough and tumble and very male world of sports television and the business of sports, I really did not have one.

I grew up on Long Island and our family values were very clear according to my dad. I was going to college to gain an Mrs. Degree even though all I wanted to do was to work with my dad and eventually take over the family business.
