Mentor with Women in America (WIA)

Since its inception, Women in America (WIA) has mentored more than 250 high-potential women across diverse industries, helping them advance to senior leadership roles—including CEO, CMO, President, COO, SVP, and beyond. This impact is made possible by our exceptional Mentors: accomplished executives united by a shared goal of propelling more women into C-suites, boardrooms, and positions of influence

WIA Mentors are established leaders with 20+ years of experience (typically 25+), often serving in C-suite or equivalent roles at scale—or recently retired executives who remain active through board and advisory work. They bring deep expertise, influential networks, and a proven track record of sponsoring and advancing high-performing women

Become a Mentee

We recruit high-potential women leaders with 4–9 years of professional experience who are driven to step into positions of influence, authority, and decision-making. WIA mentees are future-focused, goal-oriented, and ambitious—women with bold visions who challenge the status quo, commit to continuous learning, and actively support other women along the way. Our selection process is intentionally rigorous and includes a comprehensive application, a recommendation, and one to two interviews with WIA Mentors. We seek women who demonstrate authentic ambition through problem-solving ability, adaptability, empathy, and an unbreakable drive to lead and grow.
