Adrienne Johnson is Managing Direcotr and Chief Transformation Officer of AXA Financial, Inc. She is also Managing Director and the Chief Transformation Officer for AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company.
AXA’s Transformation organization drives effective and cost-efficient execution of the company’s strategic plan, Ambition 2020, and aligns to AXA Group’s transformation objectives. Reporting to the CEO of AXA in the United States and the Chief Transformation Officer of AXA Group, Ms. Johnson is responsible for data, procurement, real estate and strategic taskforces. She leads the Transformation team in supporting the businesses in the growth of priority segments and distribution transformation, and works closely with AXA’s Customer team to shape the customer experience.
Prior to her role as Chief Transformation Officer, Ms. Johnson was AXA US Chief Auditor, responsible for providing independent and objective assurance and consulting designed to add value and improve AXA's operations. Ms. Johnson has held several other leadership positions since joining AXA in 1999, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Business Development, Vice President and Chief of Staff in the office of the CEO, and Vice President of market & product development.
Before joining AXA, Ms. Johnson was with Enterprise IG, a part of the WPP Group, where she focused on post-merger and post-divestiture integration work for financial services, insurance, manufacturing, and agricultural clients. Ms. Johnson has also held positions at AIG Trading Group, Morgan Stanley, and Shearson Lehman Brothers.
Ms. Johnson serves on the Advisory Board of the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University, as well as the dinner committee, raising funds for the Fairfield Multicultural Scholarship. She is a member of the Women’s Bond Club and serves on AXA’s Rising Star selection committee. Ms. Johnson is also a member of Women in America - a professional development group aimed at advancing promising professional women. Ms. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science from Fairfield University and an MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University.
