Ita is a Partner at venture capital firm GingerBread Capital. Prior to joining GBC, Ita was the Founder of Tigress Ventures, an advisory and consulting firm with a mission to engage, educate and elevate the next generation of successful women entrepreneurs, professionals and investors.

Before founding Tigress Ventures, Ita served as Product Manager in the Reservations Solutions division of TravelClick, a leading provider of ecommerce solutions for hotels. She was responsible for the iHotelier central reservation platform including rates, reservations and inventory management capabilities.

Ita joined TravelClick from American Express where she served as Product Manager of Interactive Solutions within the company’s Global Corporate Payments group. She worked with cross-functional teams define digital strategy and end-to-end interactive experience in order to standardize Amex’s global digital footprint and improve the online experience for corporate Cardmembers.

Ita began her career at Goldman Sachs in New York. During her five years at Goldman, she spent two years as an Analyst in Credit Capital Markets and three years as a trader of Preferred Stock. She was promoted to Associate during her tenure.

Ita holds a Masters in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Psychology with a certificate in Finance from Princeton University.

Ita served as President of the W.O.M.E.N. in America Alumnae Association from 2015-2019. She is Chair of the Women's Entrepreneurship Council at St. Francis College in Brooklyn.  She served as Co-President of the Graduate Alumnae Board of the Princeton University Tigressions, an all female a cappella singing group. She was elected Music Director for the group during her time as an undergraduate. She is also active in other aspects of the Princeton alumni community, including serving as co-Chair of the Class of 2003’s 10th Reunion.  She served as Chair of the University's Committees on Reunions and a member of the Princeton University Alumni Council Executive Committee.  Additionally, Ita serves as a Class Ambassador for the Wharton Class of 2010.

Ita enjoys travel, tennis, and the performing arts.
