Trained as a chemical engineer, Lyndi Kennedy, M.B.A. has leveraged her education to become a technical and business leader at leading chemical companies such as The Dow Chemical Company and UOP, a Honeywell Company. At UOP, Lyndi traveled to China, Thailand, and Indonesia to oversee the technical integration of UOP’s catalyst technology in petrochemical facilities. Presently, Lyndi is a technical service and development scientist in The Dow Chemical Company’s Packaging and Specialty Plastics business, where she focuses on developing and delivering innovation to meet the needs of targeted customers and providing ongoing technical support to existing customers.
Recently, Dow recognized Lyndi for her leadership in driving reliability improvements, and she has also been awarded for her contribution to the successful implementation of a new high-efficiency catalyst in Dow’s first large-scale commercial demonstration of this technology. An active supporter of STEM careers for other young women, Lyndi has served as a panel member for the Society of Women Engineer's Women in Engineering Career Development at Tulane University. She has also served as a coordinator for Dow’s United Way fundraising efforts and is actively involved in Dow’s employee diversity networks.
Lyndi is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader and earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a M.B.A. from Tulane University.
