Megan Knurr serves as a Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at the Goldman Sachs Trust Companies. Megan joined Goldman Sachs in August 2006 and was named a Trust Officer in 2008.
Prior to joining the firm, Megan obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University School of Management and her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law.
Megan holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers; an affiliate of the American Bankers Association. Megan is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the New York and American Bar Associations, and the Estate Planning Council of New York City. In addition, Megan is currently serving on the Trust & Estate Administration Committee and Committee for New Members for the New York State Bar Association and the Trust, Estates, & Surrogates Court for the City Bar of New York.
In 2012, Megan was selected to participate in the W.O.M.E.N. in America Leadership Class founded out of the 2008 FORTUNE Most Powerful Women’s Summit. Megan is an Associate Board member for Gilda’s Club NYC; sits on the Advisory Board for GlamourGals.Org; serves on The Non-Profit Board Clearing House organizing committee, and is an active volunteer for the New York Junior League.
